Goodbye, Sweet Elise

Today we had a beautiful private family service as we laid Elise to rest. While our hearts ache for her to be here with us, we have peace knowing she has received her healing. The words spoken by Pastor Fielder and Pastor Hudson will forever remain in our hearts.

Sis. Fielder read this beautiful poem that she wrote for our girl:

We released pink and white balloons to symbolize our baby girl ascending to heaven. Emma told us that Elise is catching all the balloons.

We are incredibly thankful to all of you that have expressed your condolences for Elise.  We are overwhelmed at the flood of messages, prayers and words of encouragement we have received. Just as many of you have said to us, words seem inadequate. Thank you for thinking of our family and thank you for allowing Elise into your hearts.
